Requirement of Civil and Electrical Engineer on IRSDCL

The Company invites on-line applications for the following posts purely on contract basis for a period of one year as under:-
(i) Perks @ 70% of the basic pay includes 25% for housing and 45% as other perks like transport, outdoor medical etc.
(ii) Provident fund is @ 12% of basic pay. Matching contribution would be deducted from the salary of the contractual staff & deposited in his/her EPF account.
Initial period of contract. : The initial engagement is for a period of one year. However, IRSDC may rescind the contract at any time during the contract period, in case of completion/foreclosure of the project ahead of the contract period due to any reasons or poor/non- performance/misconduct on the part of the contract employee, by giving one month notice or remuneration in lieu thereof.
Extension of contract period. : The contract is extendable, up to three years or duration of the project, whichever is earlier at the sole discretion of IRSDC, as per project requirement, provided the services/performance of the contract staff are found to be satisfactory. However, IRSDC may rescind the contract any time during the extended period of contract for any of the reasons indicated above.
Annual enhancement in emoluments. :
An enhancement in emoluments @ 10% on the basic emoluments will be given, on satisfactory completion of each year of engagement, if the contract is extended. The increased basic emoluments will be rounded off to next Rs.10/-
Facility of indoor treatment. :
Engineer/s engaged on contract basis in IRSDC will be entitled to reimbursement of expenditure incurred on indoor medical treatment of self only at the place of posting at the rate applicable to Asst. Officer.
Weekly Off & Casual Leave. :
One weekly off and other public holiday when the office remains closed would be available.
06 days Casual Leave (CL) will be admissible in a calendar year and unutilized CL, if any will lapse on 31st of December of every year.
TA/DA : Engineer/s engaged on contract basis in IRSDC would be entitled to TA/DA and other related facilities on duty at the same rate at which it is being paid to Asst. Officer.
Medical Standards :
Candidates should be in sound health. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.
A. The above posts are not for the regular establishment of IRSDC. The appointment will be purely on contract basis initially for one year. (Extendable further as per requirement of the Company, if the services of the candidate are found to be satisfactory) This contract appointment will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company.
B. Minimum PF as prescribed under the EPF & MP Act 1952 will be deducted from the salary and a matching contribution will be made by IRSDC. The accumulations will be paid at the time of cessation of contract, as per extent provisions.
C. Interview shall be conducted at date & time to be advised through IRSDC website. Individual applicant giving their proper contact details shall be advised through the same, however IRSDC takes no responsibility for incorrect information or any other reason for non conveyance of the schedule for interviews. Therefore the prospective candidates are advised to keep visiting IRSDC website regularly.
D. No TA/DA shall be paid for interview which shall be conducted in IRSDC office at New Delhi.

2. The shortlisted candidates when called/intimated over email must bring their original certificates and proof of age, community, educational/professional qualification and experience while coming for the interview, failing which interview of the candidate will not be conducted.
3. Before submitting the filled in application on line, the candidates should ensure that all the entries are properly filled and are correct. Submission of wrong information would entail disqualification of the candidature of the applicant besides facing legal action.
4. The applicants working in Govt. PSUs may note that this is a short duration contract post and even for this post they will have to produce NOC at the time of interview and resign from their parent organization on their selection.
