About WAPCOS Limited

We are a centrally located, fully-owned public sector organisation that reports to the Government of India (“GOI”) and is managed by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, GOI. For companies and communities in India and beyond, we provide engineering consultation services and construction in the domains of infrastructure, electricity, and water. Our Company has been offering engineering consulting services for the past 5 (five) decades for projects in the infrastructure, water, and power sectors that have significantly benefited India and other countries. We actively engage in the construction industry, together with our subsidiary, and have completed several projects in important Indian industries. We can provide public and private customers in India and abroad with specialised solutions to challenging tasks because of our knowledge obtained from having a worldwide presence. The Department of Public Enterprises has granted us Schedule B Category-I Mini-Ratna status.

According to the ADB financing statement, we were rated first among the top ten (10) worldwide consulting companies in the water and other urban infrastructure sectors. Since our inception, we have offered engineering consulting services to many customers in more than fifty (50) nations. By providing engineering consulting services for numerous development projects, we have established a worldwide footprint in the water, electricity, and infrastructure sectors, notably in South Asia and across Africa.
